How Light Up Inverurie Works
Light Up Inverurie is a free community Christmas lights competition celebrating the homes and streets helping make the town feel extra special this festive season.
Enter your house or street by 6 December, uploading 1–3 photos of your display. We’ll then create a shortlist before opening the competition to a public vote from 10–18 December.
The winners will be announced on 20 December.
Competition Information
-
Light Up Inverurie is open to eligible households within Inverurie. Simply enter your own decorated home using the online form.
Where several homes from the same street enter, that street may also be considered for a separate Best Decorated Street award.
-
Complete the online entry form by 6 December 2026 and upload between 1 and 3 clear photos of your display. Phone photos are absolutely fine — dusk or evening shots will usually show your lights at their best.
-
Your full address / street name is collected only to confirm eligibility and administer the competition, and will not be published in the voting gallery.
Entrants are responsible for the safety and suitability of their own decorations and electrical equipment.
